Converge Assistance was founded by a group of passionate young Congolese who had witnessed the disastrous living conditions in Eastern DRC. Motivated by a deep sense of responsibility and the desire to create meaningful change, these visionary young people came together to address the complex challenges their communities faced.

The organization launched its first projects aimed at providing immediate assistance to displaced populations, including the distribution of food and non-food items.

Recognizing the critical need for health support, Converge Assistance began providing technical assistance to strengthen the local health system. This included training healthcare workers and improving access to primary healthcare services.

The organization also initiated programs to combat gender-based violence (GBV), offering psychosocial support, legal assistance, and socio-economic rehabilitation to survivors.

Converge Assistance expanded its action to include community development and resilience-building projects. These initiatives aimed to foster self-sufficiency and long-term stability within communities.

The organization collaborated with local partners and international donors to implement socio-economic projects offering livelihood opportunities and promoting economic growth.
